The second stage will happen this weekend it will be in vertical caves in Buchan. We will have multiple cave riggers for that trip and the group will be split into multiple caving parties. Each party will have their own guide/instructor to help you learn SRT and safely commute on ropes in the caves.
This trip is suitable for people with zero caving experience and for more advanced cavers that just want to practice. For cavers with zero experience it’s imperative that you attend the Lysyerfield Park stage of the trip. All rigging gear will be provided and for those that don’t have persona SRT gear, this can be borrowed for the weekend from the club.
Please get in contact if you’re interested and remember, you don’t have to have any previous experience for this trip.
