Melvillle Caves is a granite outcrop in Koongara State Park near Inglewood . It is predominantly fissures but there are some areas of dark crawls. VSA has not visited the area for some time. Trip this weekend is to meet at 11 am on Saturday 14th July at the picnic ground at Melville Caves ( ie not the campground). Need basic equipment ie 2 sources of light, good footwear with tread, boiler suit and helmet. Gloves and knee pads desirable. Lunch, drinks etc also.
Nicholas and I intend to stay overnight in Inglewood but it could be a very long day trip if you wanted to.
