This trip will aim to probe the terminal rock pile. A cache of emergency gear will also be installed at an appropriate location near the end of the cave to enhance the safety of future trips. It is a wet cave and is open to experienced cavers only. Numbers are limited to 6 and places will go to those considered to be physically capable of completing the trip safely and who are equipped for a wet cave environment. In particular, a roof sniff through the entry sump.Trip duration is expected to be about 7 hours.
A trip into QBE cave is also proposed for the Sunday. It is possible that there exists a connection between QBE and Scrubby past the terminal rock pile. If so, it will mean Scrubby can be extended in a future trip. The QBE trip will be a dig to find an extension of the cave towards the direction of Scrubby.
