VSA Nullarbor Expedition 2016
This year the trip has been pushed to late-winter and into spring.
Proposed dates for expedition are Wednesday August 22 2016 to Sunday September 11 2016. These dates are on the Nullarbor Plain.
All those who wish to participate, kindly respond on availability or minor alterations to these proposed dates. The last time we were on the Nullarbor at this time was in 2011. Ken got reasonable flying, we had small amounts of rain but only on a couple of days. There were lots of flowers about, budgerigars, kestrels with young chicks etc.
The proposed search area overlaps with last years area but is to the north-east.
Daryl and Ken to prepare search area maps plus proposed camp area.
Once the dates are finalised, Nick will start organising all the admin and management stuff.
Note: Due to several people dropping out from last years list we do have capacity to take on a couple more people but firstly they need to have the time and then we reserve the right to accept or reject an applicant(s). There are logistic questions and at the moment there may be car space.
