Nullarbor bones

VSA returned to the Nullarbor with paleontologists from Adelaide Uni to find bones of extinct marsupials.          Some remains of small carnivores have been found. We camped among the trees to shelter from the wind but it did not work. Some camels crossed the road when were going along the old coach road.

Photographic survey of Buchan caves.

Federal Cave Centenary

Limestone strata

This photo was taken by Gary Smith from NHVSS in December. We are facing east looking over Slocombe’s cave from the farmhouse on the hill.
